We were innocently test-firing the laser across the bay from the ‘South Court Lodge’ on the Lincombe’s (photo); onto the small sandy beach, in front of the ‘Grand Hotel’, when we accidentally blocked all the road access onto the whole Lincombe’s area of Torquay, England.

 Several police cars appeared - to move the stationary cars, several council Lorries and loads of council workmen were organized to clear all the debris.

Police interviews and exaggerated ‘newspaper reports’ about prisoners cutting their cell-bars to escape, were followed by detectives.

However, one of those detectives had fortunately, apparently been a guest at our daughters wedding.

That detective therefore, already knew everything about this innocent but ‘crack-pot’ inventor who experimented on the ‘Lincombes’ area in Torquay!
